Fiskars are the best splitting axes I’ve used to date, despite all of the backlash that seems to have no explanation. Splitting on the ground is the way to go as well, in my opinion. Far more momentum. Axes aren’t supposed to be for looking pretty, they’re for work. These axes are easy to sharpen. I’ve been using them for the last 4 years and highly recommend them. Thanks for sharing my friend!

As a self-proclaimed axe snob I like the cheaper axes. My expensive ones look so nice I don't want to use them.

Very nice, always concerns me when they cover it in orange plastic, makes me think it’ll not perform and they’re trying to sell based on image (like the Bear Grylls stuff, no I’m not going to drink my piss Bear).

Great with softwood but doesn't work like that with hard maple.
