oh, wait.... after my first comment I was curious about the StandTogetherCC funding and so much makes sense now. This is a Koch propaganda operation. I have now answered my own question.

Self-reporting polls like these are not going to achieve accurate results when talking about critical issues like this.

Those on the far right are much more wary of public research and polling (Trump tells them not to trust the polls constantly), and as a result they probably aren’t answering your questions regardless.

Even if they are, the scenarios you provide are not worded in a way that provides constructive answers. “Should you be more loyal to the party than the constitution?” Is a question ripe for interpretation, and I don’t think that people answering “constitution” means they are more aligned with democracy.

I vigorously disagree with the conclusions you are inferring - that our democracy is not in danger. I can accept that 60% of the GOP voters adhere to the constitution. The concern is the 40% that are actively trying to install a dictatorial regime. I cannot see how you can dismiss attempted coups incited by their presidential candidate, with a VP that wrote the forward of the blueprint to extend executive powers and rip checks and balances out of the system. The danger is real.
