Somatic Tracking 3 for PPPD, MdDS, VM, Chronic Dizziness, Anxiety & Pain (15 minutes, no music)

Somatic tracking is an exercise to help you change your brain and body's neural and chemical responses to your dizziness symptoms (spinning, rocking, heaviness, nausea, floatiness, etc.)

This 15-minute version of the exercise will teach your brain to respond to the unpleasant sensations you feel without alarm. This creates new neural pathways and connections in your brain (neuroplasticity) that will help you reduce your symptoms.

The goal of the exercise is not to get rid of the dizziness or related symptoms. The goal of the exercise is to teach your brain that it is safe and in no danger. It doesn't matter whether the dizziness changes, or gets better or worse while you are tracking it.

This is brilliant thank you. I tend to struggle to relax due to the residual dizziness and pressure in my head. This is the only thing that keeps me calm. ❤

I like that this track has no music. The tracking with added background music makes my tinnitus louder. .

This tracking exercise has been so good for me. This morning I concentrated on a strange pressure in my head and by the end if the session my ear which had been full and deaf improved dramatically. I feel so much more accepting of these weird and variable sensations . Much more in control, thanks .

I love this one. Just focusing on the message/your words and the sensations. I’m going to refer to this one a few times a day!

This caused a lot of fear. I realized just how scared I am of that symptom. I'll keep doing it until the fear is gone.

Great exercise. I feel empowered by really acknowledging what I feel like. Really helping with the fear factor . Thanks

You’re giving me such hope. I’ve been struggling with anxiety from VM and Visual Vertigo. I have not lived to my potential because of these debilitating health issues.
Are you telling me (after I binged watched your videos) that I can be CURED ?
I am crying now with just thinking of living a normal life.

People like you should be awarded for the social awareness and help that you do. Especially about these issues that are rarely addressed.

To all the warriors out there, don’t lose hope. Recovery is possible! Just don’t give up and sit back.

Love from India 🇮🇳❤️

Wow! I really like number 3. Have used one and two a good bit. Really found I liked the quiet steady pace of this one.

Thanks for this! I had the weirdest thing happen -- I started focusing on the sensation of tightness and swelling around my throat that's been making me super anxious for the past few days, but after focusing on it for only a few minutes, it was replaced by a really intense tingling and heaviness across my chest! So I focused on that for awhile instead, and now, a few minutes after finishing the meditation, both sensations have quieted down a good bit. Did anyone else experience a major transition of sensations like this? 🤯

Tried this for the first time today. I was feeling very out of sorts at the start of my walk . Light headed snd generally unwell. Focused on s as ncious feelings in my abdomen. Feel much calmer now and the light headed feeling is still there but feels less threatening somehow, thsnks

Hi Dr. Yonit, I’ve been experiencing dizziness for the past 9-10 months. The day after I discovered your channel about two weeks ago, I began to feel a new sensation of constant unsteadiness (feeling like I’m gonna fall over, motion sensitivity, my body feels heavy if I lean forwards backwards or sideways even slightly). It’s been really debilitating, hasn’t stopped since it’s started, and very difficult to stop thinking about. I was wondering if this is expected or if you think this is something to be worried about? Why do you think this is happening to me? Thank you so much for making these videos I’ve been gaining a lot of clarity from you.

I know most people with PPPD have the visual vertigo and swaying and dizziness that is more floaty, but have you encountered patients who have all of that as well as real vertigo attacks? My swaying has gotten a lot better and I’m able to tell myself it’s not a real issue with my brain, but have been getting vertigo attacks that last about 15-20 seconds followed by static in my ears for a few minutes, and those are a lot harder for me tell myself I’m safe and it’s all part of the process. Curious what you think!
