I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

I love the concept of Genesis. I pretty much refuse to play Ari online at this point, so an emphasis on single player stuff is what I’m looking for. However, this map is so frustrating to even begin to get established on. I don’t know who’s bright idea it was to make the swamp the “easiest” location. But also filling his it to the brim with predators and insect swarms.

Ark is a super fun game on most fronts, the only thing really killing it for a lot of people is the fact that the base settings for everything are scaled for multiplayer servers with tribes of hundreds of players constantly gathering and crafting. I always tell people to adjust ALL settings to taste, but especially taming speed, player movement speed, and player fortitude. I just got game pass on series x so i'm going to try out the genesis maps and this is good info to see the new features.

Genesis does quite a few things very well, though it has it's shortcomings. I really like the mini-missions. They FINALLY did underwater exploration right and made it enjoyable. There's some great new creatures in the game as well.

I never did understand how you could transport creatures from an in-universe simulation to the real world of ark. Maybe its going to get explained in the next dlc.

what a great map, i feel like it's really been forgotten about but man. A very unique one indeed.

This is actually my favourite map! Sure it restricts your building, but ehh, I've never been good at building, and I understand why they had to do it.

I like having to travel and I don't mind the no-fliers rule, it makes it more fun to explore! + you can just grab a procoptodon and go jumping around. It also brings many great tames, most can be really hard to get, but rewarding.

Edit: If you don't know what you're doing on this map at first, then that's fine, spawn in bog, grab a rock or 2 for basic tools, teleport then go to the ocean, you can safely get creatures like basilos very easily as Mantas cannot spawn on the map (From what I've seen). Makes it much easier to get strong right from the bat and you can grind missions to get good gear and levels easily

if you can pull it off, getting a stego in the lava place thats high level and then using it in bog for defense, wood, thatch and berry gathering is a pretty good strat

Fantastic Video! I've been waiting for this since Genesis is my favorite map. Love your channel, keep up the great work! One thing though, there are multiple Beaver dams, however they are near the cliffs in the Arctic near the lake. You just have to kill enough salmon for them to spawn. :)

This makes me want to go back... I played swamp solo and it was so shit. I couldn’t build a base cause a spino or bary would spawn.
I kept getting swarmed. I never thought I check other areas.
Ark has been decently good with having safe spawns be safe. So I trusted it

As and FYI there are multiple locations the beaver damns can spawn near that lake. There is a path that goes around it that usually has a few.

So glad I found this channel, once I become proficient in each map I think I’ll be ready to join pvp servers again. I used to dominate them back in the day when there were only 20 Dino’s. Now there’s 700 that I have to learn to tame and figure out which are and aren’t worth

I feel like the only real biome that is even close to being "good" to build in is artic. However this whole dlc kinda sucks to build on. I do love the quests and I do really love the new tames. I hate not being able to use flyers lol but it isn't hard to not play on because abberation is my favorite.
