Having been in an accident, which left me half dead for a couple of months and then seriously handicaped for 3 years, i have since seemingly "restored" myself so much, that until i speak, it is hard to see there is anything weird about me. But, as agent Smith said, "appearances can be deceiving", you see, even though i was supported all throughout my ordeal by my family and friends, the latter understandbly, none left their life on hold, pretty much all of them moved on, getting married and having kids, so the feeling of being alone, is all but too familiar to me. What makes it even worse, is the fact that, one of my main motivations, to try climb out of the mess i found myself into, was me not wanting to be an inconvenience. I hate being in the spotlight, so the thought of me constantly asking for assistance of someone other than myself, was so unbearable, because all i could think off, is that i'm a big burden to everyone. Anyway, as much as other people support you, you have to be the one doing the heavy lifting. That, and also my introverted nature, made me, wanting to rely only on myself, in other words, not seeking foreign help, when I bumped into problems, I cannot overcome. I have yet to begin therapy, it's just, up until now, i was in heavy denial of needing it, i hear that often happens, when experiancing traumatic injuries, as until you are occupied with recovery and treatment, you simply don't feel the need, of taking care of your mental health, with your physical health being a wreck.
