Turkey: Opposition names Kılıcdaroglu as presidential candidate

Turkey’s opposition alliance has named Kemal Kilicdaroglu - the head of the Republican People's Party - as its joint candidate to run against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in May's election.
After splintering on Friday over its choice of candidate, the six-party coalition has united behind 74-year-old Kilicdaroglu. He has been the leader of the main opposition party - the CHP - since 2010, and has lost three elections to Erdogan.
Polls suggest it will be a tight presidential race, with a cost-of-living crisis, rampant inflation and years of economic turmoil eroding support for Erdogan.
In 2016, he was also prosecuted for insulting Erdogan by suggesting the Turkish leader was a dictator.

Al Jazeera’s Sinem Koseoglu joins us live from Ankara for the latest updates.

A vote for Kemal isn't a vote for the CHP, rather it's a vote for the table and change.

Turkey is a very powerful country, no matter who rules it. And we don't need anyone to stay. Those who do not live in Turkey cannot defend the current administration here

Everyone knows that Erdogan is a strong leader around the world. Especially in the last 20 years, it has reintroduced Turkey to the world.

It is quite difficult to beat strong leaders like Erdogan. According to the news, opposition leaders in the country know this too. It is very important for Turkey to be a strong country in its region. Let's not forget that Turkey is like a bridge in Russia and NATO relations. A strong Turkey is significant for both NATO and Russia.

Turkish economy, standard of life and corruption in turkey is prime example Erdogan's hard work
If he stays in power even Israeli economy will become bigger than Turkey.
Gdp of turkey in 2013:- 957 billion dollar
2022 :- 810 billion dollar
Gdp of Israel in 2013:- 297 billion dollar
2022:- 487 billion dollar This what hard work and development look like.
