Now I know a soundbar dont beat a full blown 7.1 surround sound system. But this soundbar has me very very interested and something I might be willing to spend money on and pair it with my excellent C1 OLED.

I have four LG products: two air conditioners, one refrigerator, and one soundbar. The air conditioners and refrigerator work very well, but unfortunately, the LG SP9A 5.1.2 Sound Bar fell short of expectations. After extensive research, I chose this model for its promised quality and technology (in partnership with Meridian), but I was mistaken.

The subwoofer is practically nonexistent, failing to deliver minimally satisfactory bass, to the point where the product deserves the description 5.0.2 instead of 5.1.2. After identifying the problem, I took it to the only authorized service center in Rio de Janeiro, as indicated by LG. The service center confirmed the defect in the subwoofer and replaced the main board, but the situation did not improve. Either the replacement was not actually done, or the product is of low quality.

LG should review this model and ensure that consumers receive what was promised. Considering my experience with the subwoofer, I do not recommend any LG Sound Bar. It is frustrating to purchase a product in this category and not obtain the expected performance, especially from a brand I have trusted with other products.

It's not available in India after a year also... why it's so slow manufacturing dude I wanted now but the dealer said it's not even launched in India yet... I mean why what's the issue??☹️.

VRR and ALLM but only 60Hz. For the PS5 or XBOX we need 120Hz. LG TVs come with 120Hz since 2019, but the Soundbar is in 2022 still not kompatibel!

Very poor performance.... Poor bass. My 6 year old Panasonic hometheater under 20k has tripple time effect better than this....

sorry LG I really hope in the coming years that you all have an answer to this QD-OLED because it's going to drown out you're maxed out WOLED an even the New EVO panel. Even tho At least Samsung doesn't have DV there QD-OLED more then makes up for it. Where as Sony does have DV with QD-OLED. So i Hope LG has Something in the Works cause with 3 years WOLED will be about LCD Level. Im up for a new TV in 2026 Unless something goes wrong with my 65" C1. So Bring the Pain LG.. don't get complacent in start falling behind

Sound share mode is totally broken, it s downmixing any audio signal, like atmos to pcm, stop lying please, only sound bar control works, which obviously doesn’t use the ai from alpha 9 chip. I bought my soundbar for this feature, il feel tricked
