Robert asks so many good questions. This show is a blessing. Thank you!

All of your opinions are rejected on the basis that this man is an emeritus professor of philosophy of religion at Oxford. I for one agree with his method of at least logically attempting to classify God.

But wouldn't heaven be a better world than ours? Isn't a world without suffering and tears infinitely more perfect than ours? Seems kinda weird.

If God made our world perfect nothing could or would happen.

Also I think that 'perfect' is too much of an ambiguous term :(

God admits of being jealous! HOW you perfect but have jealousy in your mindset yet alone your Artibutes? Jealous can still bring good things like motivation but can also lead to hate at the same time, and hate is negative and negative energy itself so in that case jealousy is negative in the bigger picture, 2 God wants you to fear him???? Well why would I fear something perfect? Cause there should be nothing to fear. If he loves us the way He says he does how does fear come to our hearts to fear something that is perfection/ that can do no wrong and have zero flaws??? Because think about it how Df are you perfect but want your creation to fear you, so is there something to fear about you then? 3 That something to fear is punishment/ distraction! Again last but not least how Df can you be perfect but not create a all perfect world and angels/ note some even rebelled against you? So where did they get that mindset of betrayal or rebelling if they came from a perfect and all loving God, Well there are two answers to that, 1 God purposely created then with/negative energy itself or he lied about being perfect, because due to the Everything and emotions come from God logic proves that God himself is the inventer of evil and his DNA in a sense when created angels such as Lucifer your telling me he didint know how will he turn out when yet he has the power to see ahead of time and future, so because this proofs he is the cause of negative energy yes it also means he is also responsible for positive energy, BUT IF YOUR PERFECT AND PERFECTION YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY NEGATIVE ENERGY IT DOSENT MAKE SENSE!

it depends whether you regard a Divine Being as everlasting or eternal.

his opening statement about maximal universe is the same with God. whatever good can do he can do better.

Upsetting. God is guilty through design. God makes some people taller, they end up happier, less stressful, more succesful. God makes some people more beautiful, they end up happier, less stressful, more succesful. Instead of being righteous and making only adjectives that are finitely equitable, he made people adjectives that are harrowing and cursing. Hence, it is ever painful in every day to ignore the many ways you find God to be guilty, just to doubt that you are wasting your time not repelling the evil back at him until life is over.

There can't be infinite universes. If there were, there wouldn't be space between them.

Each one of us has our own understanding that is relative or true to us!

I have nothing against Swinburne, but it seems that he presupposes what it means to be good when he speaks of God's perfection. "He does nothing BAD and does lots of GOOD things" and therefore he is good. He is perfect because he's good and good because he's perfect? I don't like this circularity Richard. Tell me I'm wrong.

I think his thesis states that god is good not perfect and he don, t even realize that's what he, s saying all along.if someone's looking for a man to build something and he ask do you know anyone capable of the job and another man replies yes i know a man who, s perfect for the job.if that man referd to is really perfect then he will build whatever it is without any flaw or mistakes.but if he is imperfect well then just look at the world you live in

I have a question to those who came here: If God is perfect in all ways and in all ways good, he cannot sin right? So us, mankind created in His image, we can sin and we can lie and be deceitful. Wouldn't that in some ways make us more powerful than God? It's just a theory that I picked up from around.

So then god created me to be an atheist? Then why make me at all. And the free-will argument falls apart here because if he is all-knowing, he would have known of my inevitable atheistic beliefs before my existence.

This universe isn't perfect, the human eye isn't perfect, nothing is perfect...and neither is there a perfect being.

I have one question, if God cannot make the best of all possible worlds (i.e. a perfect world) because he could just add to it, how can he himself be perfectly wise or perfectly powerful or perfectly good as more could be added to any of them couldn't they? (I do not think this is a defeator to his position, because I have not read any of Professor Swinburne's books as of yet, this is an objection to purely what was said in the video)
