How to Delete One or More or All Contacts on Android

Learn how to delete one, multiple, or all contacts from any Android device with this quick and easy video tutorial.

Open the contacts app on your device. Scroll through your list to find a person whose contact information you want to delete. If you want to delete multiple contacts at the same time, hold down the contact's name to enable multiple selection mode. Then tap the name of each contact you want to delete. When you select a contact, a check mark will appear to the left of their name. If you want to select your entire contact list, tap the box in the top left corner of your screen. If you need to deselect any contacts you may have selected by mistake, simply tap the check mark beside their name. Once you’ve selected all the contacts you want to delete, tap the trash can icon in the top right corner. To confirm, tap Delete in the pop-up window.

My phone don't even do that my phone tell me that I can hide it but I can't delete it

Once I delete contacts from Samsung F62 using Contact App, it reappears in the contact list.
How do I PERMANENTLY Delete the contacts?
