This is prob the most iconic duo all time if not the mig and Sabre the the phantom and the mig21

This is one of my favourite pairings - faster than the warbirds, but not as electronics-dependent as the more modern jets. Pure flying.

I like how Longshot adapted quickly by forcing a one circle fight in the second match. He rarely makes the same mistakes twice. 👍

These classic matches are my favorite. Would love to see some 2v2 fights as that seems like the more common historical matchup.

There's *never* enough Korean war dogfights. I've been waiting for this. My favourite match up of all time <3

I think the sabre pilots were already wearing G-suits at that time, enabling them to pull harder and withstand more G's than the mig pilots. Am I wrong?

"23mm round to the face." That will make you have a bad day every time.

Good fights. I hope to see more MiG vs Sabre. I think it’s pretty accurate that the MiG out turns the Sabre (and has the better climb rate, I think), though the Sabre should have the higher top speed. Maybe breaking more of a gap could help when you disengage from the rate fight?

Definitive one of the best and most interesting fights so far, great flyin and fight coupled with really good explanations on whats happening and the different strengths of both aircrafts. Thumbs up!

Speaking of, any plans on making a video about the MiG or Sabres history/dogfights? Would surely make for an entertaining piece. Like the famous 2 on 2 during the Korean war that was covered on the History Channel.

In the circle fight @19:30 (ish) would you have been better served by going vertical to try and reset instead of bleeding all your energy in the turn. You weren't going to get lead on him, and his energy state didn't appear to bleed at all no matter the rate. I realize he had you right where he wanted, in his rear quadrant. Maybe, if you had broken it off a bit sooner, went vertical and used your roll rate to keep him on the lift vector. Sure, that would have likely put you into a vertical rolling scissors. But I can't help but think that changing the geometry of the fight after first realizing you couldn't match his turn would have, at a minimum, given him another equation to solve.

Probably the only time I've seen you straight up out fought by a determined and relentless foe. Love your videos, so informative!

Am I the only one that gets so into the fight that I jump every time there is a pilot snipe?
