If Utah had drafted Magic Johnson and Dominic Wilkins they wouldn't be in a position to draft malone and Stockton

I know Luka is better than trae but to say the mavs clearly won the trade when the hawks have been the same or better team throughout both their careers is crazy.

That Luka trade also netted the Hawks DJ Murray

As a Nuggets fan, it HURTS me to think about Spida potentially being our starting 2 with Jokic and Murray

Getting Jayson Tatum instead of Markelle Fultz is something I’m grateful for every day

Surprised the Warriors trade with the Magic in 1993 wasn’t on here. The Warriors gave up 3 future first round picks and Penny Hardaway for Chris Webber, who only ended up playing with them for one season.

In a couple years the celtics giving away Desmond Bane to the grizzlies will be on this list

I feel like some of these aren't that bad. There were circumstances that I feel like you overlooked. Like the pacers didn't have a true point and George Hill was a championship point guard. And starbury was just as good (if not better) as Ray Allen until he went to new York. Just wish you had more context

To be fair the mavericks - hawks trade wasn’t that bad both players have made it to the conference finals and lost to the eventual champs and both players fit in their systems so not it was a win-win trade

Also their both great

Luka/Trae trade is definitely not one of the most lopsided trades in NBA history.

PHILLY NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO DRAFT TATUM!!!
Why do people keep pretending they did? Boston only traded the pick because they knew Philly wanted fultz and lakers were getting Lonzo.

Did the mavs win the trade? Mavericks aren’t in the playoffs and the Hawks just won a game in the playoffs against the Celtics.

Hawks traded Bill Russell because they knew they could never have him play for a team in the still segregated south

But you know how lottery works? If the Jazz drafted Magic, they would probably be too good to draft Nique, Stockton and Malone…

Stop with the Tatum thing! If Philly had any inkling Philly wanted Tatum, Boston would have taken him 1st.

I hate that people always ignore to say that in Kobe trade, He said that he wasnt going to play for charlotte and was going to sit out... so they didnt have a chance to keep him.
