I would add two things to this video:

1) Add a brief explanation of what a person should do if they're one of us rare people who actually doesn't have a cell phone (yes, we do exist!! *Laugh*)... or, what a person should do if they're in an uncommon situation where they're not able to connect to the internet, or if they have problems using the website or app, etc.

2) I would add, as a next-to-last thing - DOUBLE-CHECK the CAB of the truck, to ensure that you've gotten EVERY thing out of it (including the glove box, under the seat - everywhere)... and that you have the keys for your own vehicle in your pocket, or with someone else holding them, before you drop those U-Haul keys in the drop box / slot. I wonder how many people have forgotten to do this step only to drop the truck's keys into the slot and then realize that their own keys were still in the cab of the truck... after closing hours when no-one from the company was there at the lot.

people are complaining about the amount of steps, but it is no different from what a worker would have to check. accept the 5 minutes it takes and get the afterhours convenience, or return at an inconvenient time and wait, it's a personal choice

The uhaul around me is on a very sketchy street. I’m not sticking around that long to go through this many steps. I just want to drop off and run back to my car. 😂

That’s waaaay too much to do. When I returned my trailer a few weeks ago, there was hardly any room at all to be able to park it correctly in a spot. I had NO choice but to partially block the entrance.

What a scam! I'm getting stuck with a $20 charge because the location I used has no cell service in the area. A simple solution would be to make these locations post a wifi network and password so the customer doesn't get stuck with a $20 charge. The people I talked to through their app had a problem realizing what I was pointing out 🤷‍♂️ BS $20 charge for all I know the business can have a signal blocker installed so the customer gets stuck with that charge I'm sure the full $20 goes to the location

This is useless. The app wont let me upload a picture. And yes I was on chrome on a new phone. I tried on 3 different phones. And it always gave issues. It wouldn't detect my location, then ot would take the photo saying there was no memory?? Wtf is that mean. As a programmer myself, it is f##king sad that a multi million dollar company doesn't have a decent website.
