I have 2010 Pontiac G6 2.4 ecotec. Showing P0010. How do I know the difference between a faulty camshaft oil control valve (OCV) and faulty variable valve timing (VVT) solenoid? They both throw the same P0010 code. Can I clean the VVT solenoid? Can I test the VVT solenoid? Thank you

Hello! I own a 2011 Chrysler 200 3.6L throwing a P0010 code. The problem is that the check engine light turns off for awhile but then turns back on again. I recently had my oil changed so I don’t think it would be dirty oil. What should I test first? Should I pull the solenoid?
