How To Build Love For the Quran || Qari Ibi Idris w/ Dawoud Yahya #26

Qari Ibrahim completed his memorisation of the Holy Quran by the age of 12 in London, UK, under the guidance of his father, also a Qari, who gained his qualifications in Mansoura, Egypt.

Unfortunately, due to lifestyle choices, Qari Ibrahim forgot his Quran by age 15 while pursuing a career in professional football.

Having been accepted for a two-year scholarship at a well-known football academy, Ibrahim had a big choice to make: sacrifice his dreams for one year to relearn his Quran or try to balance the two.

Alhamdulillah, Allah guided him to take one year out to study in a boarding school to relearn his Quran. By a miracle from Allah, when he came back, he went on trial and was accepted for the same two-year football scholarship at the same well-known academy.

From that year onwards, Ibrahim made a promise to himself that he would never let the memory of the Quran fade and committed to making it his life mission to be able to recite the Quran and teach others the same, Inshallah.

After spending a lot of time living in Egypt studying the Quran, tajweed, and the beauty of memorisation, “Ibi Idris Academy” was born.

This is so far the best podcast I have listened so far. I liked when the brother mentioned that hijra is first in your heart before you physically go somewhere. There is not a single authentic hadeeth which states surah waqiah prevents poverty. All fabricated and with no sahih sanad.
I request this information should atleast be put as a disclaimer by the admin. A lot of people hear these podcasts and take it as an inspiration and there would be a lot of people looking up to Qari Ibrahim Idris. Such misinformation about the Deen should not be so easily spread especially by someone so well known. This is a religion of sanad and that's the beauty of Islam that every single ibadah we do can be traced back to our prophet صل الله عليه وسلم.
Therefore, please, atleast the Hifdh status admin, Dawoud Yahya, May Allah bless him, should atleast put it as a disclaimer and the same should be conveyed to Ibi Idrees too.

Few weeks ago I saw a girl reciting very similarly to ibi idiriis and at that time I didn’t know him so I asked for the sheikh and people mentioned him and I came across this now and just clicked and I went back and I see the ppl mentioned him when I asked for the sheikh!!!This is a crazy coincidence
