Love all the places you went, all so very good! However everyone has different tastes and everyone’s lists will be different. My personal favorites:
Bagels: Essa Bagel if just a bagel. As you said if you want lox, have to go to Russ & Daughters. Cheesecake: Bamonte’s Italian Restaurant in Williamsburg. Pizza: just a slice, DiFara, whole pie, Lucali’s. Hot Dog, Papaya on 72nd St. Deli Sandwich: 3 way tie, Katz’s, Ben’s, Sarge’s.

Katz's Hooray! Sarge's & 2nd Ave are excellent too but I most like the THICK hand-cut pastrami with the blackened crust at Katz's. So intense.

I think my favourites are definitely pizza and bagels. Ive still never had a bagel in NYC, my next trip that has to change! As well as a trip to Bleeker street pizza. It all looked delicious.

If you want hot dogs make the trip to Coney Island. If you want cheesecake, make the trip to Juniors. Katz's is right for Pastrami, and bagels and pizza are everywhere, but I'm partial to Brooklyn versions of those too.

You're right, Bleecker Street Pizza's Nona Maria slice is AWESOME...Ditto, Pastrami on Rye at 2nd Ave KOSHER DELI ...Katz's and Sarge's are Jewish style, not kosher, for those who care, but a must stop. Thanks for this fine video and keep up your labor of love, Jon.
