The 'who are you' bit is brilliant, but what get's me every time is the the shot of the ship going through the Suez Canal, like it's gliding along the sand as if it's a mirage.

the close up shot of lawrence's face while someone shouts "who are you?" is just so profound

I saw this movie with my mother at the best theater in Minneapolis, the old Cooper, now 30 years gone. Great experience, and when I saw the ship passing behind the sand dunes I knew I was watching one of the best films of all time.

The very essence of the film - Who are you?

Love the little nudge at the Marseillaise in the fanfare after the reveal of the canal (it was initiated by a Frenchman)

I love how Lawrence and Farraj hold each other’s forearms; they’re like a surrogate father and son. And Farraj’s yell to get the motorcyclist’s attention is so adorable.

@0:34 I've heard camels being called ships of the desert, but this is ridiculous!

"who are you" as he looks at the harbinger of his death is insane
