i was trying to describe how spectacular and somewhat magical milford sound is to my friend today and what you said is similar to what i said. mountains coming straight out of the sea. spectacular yet scary how you're so tiny compared to these mountains

Damn, Jucy is everywhere down there. I stayed at the Jucy Snooze in Queenstown, rented a Jucy motorhome in Australia and see Jucy Cruise on the side of that boat.

In 1988 I joined the NZ Navy. They went up into this area in a 400 ft frigate.
It was crazy. Unfortunately the crew of some 300 were nothing more than a trained prison population that unleashed hell on the civilian population where ever we went as we travelled around the world, saw unimagineable crime / brutality that destroyed me really.
But yeah, I remember sailing up this ditch. Very impressive.

Yeah, how annoying that the bus driver is trying to teach you about the place you're visiting. The importance of each particular part of an amazing location. How does he dare presume you might want to actually have a richer experience by knowing details that might be missed by travel guides.
