This episode really took me by surprise and I didn't expect it to hit me with the emotions in the way that it did. Do you think this was a perfect episode? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Ekko really gave up his heaven for saving his universe. Most heart shattering sacrifiece i've ever witnessed in a TV show.

I couldve watched a whole 3episode act of Ekko in this alternate timeline and needing to accept that he has to go back to the hellscape of his reality. The boy who shattered time but could'nt get enough for himself.

This episode truly captured why he's called 'The boy saviour', willing to sacrafice his happiness and wellbeing for the greater good despite it not needing to be his problem anymore.

Atleast we know that Ekko and Powder get their happy ending somewhere in the universe

That scene of Ekko and Jinx dancing was so therapeutic, it healed my soul 💙

I love the fact that both of them were sent to a version of the city opposite to what they were used to. Ekko was sent to a happy Zaun that lives and coexists with topside as opposed to normal Zaun being almost a wasteland. Jayce got sent to a wasteland version of Piltover with only destruction as opposed to the progress induced city he was used to.

The beauty of this episode will forever be engrained with me.

Ekko, the boy who shattered time, gave up the ideal future, and let go of the past to save the present.

Act 3 biggest parrarel is that of ekko and jayce. I think it proposed the question which had it harder, is it jayce who has to find his will to escape from hell, or is it ekko who has to find his will to leave heaven.

To give up one's own happiness to save the happiness of others was the ultimate personal sacrifice, and why Ekko prevailed. Everyone else in Arcane was so focused on their own dreams, while Ekko focused on making sure everyone else's were possible in a post-hextech world.

Ekko is the hero of Arcane! Every character was different shades of grey but Ekko was always selfless and scarified his 'happy ever after' in a perfect Zaun with his dream girl to go back and save everyone!

I've seen a lot of media, very very few scenes/eps/ characters made me feel the way I felt with this one. You really feel like they're real people, you long for them after finishing; leaving a void that will take some time to fill. Never I thought I would care this much for Ekko and Jinx. It's a truly spectualur episode on every level possible. Sting's "what could've been" hits hundred times harder now.

42 yr Male

Their dance scene broke me. Immediately, and shockingly, memories from my teen yrs poured in. The moments i had with one of the only women i had mostly great experiences with. This episode made me really self-reflect on the what-if's of my life. What if we stayed together? What if i would have taken college more seriously? How many great and euphoric experiences, like what shown in this episode, would i have had? Would i be as stoned-skinned and battle-hardened as i am now? ... is that even possible? Would i even be happy with that life? Would i have made mistakes that would change my course even then? Would i have a traditional married life and would i be satisfied? .... or is this the life I'm the happiest in because i unknowingly enjoy the conflicts? Was i given great inner strength and intuition because i was always predestined to be in the position im in right now? ....

This episode was, i think, was the only episode of a show that made me tearful, almost balling crying. The temporary euphoric imaginary feeling of complete satisfaction and contentment was very painful. My tears felt like they were tears of hurt and regret. Thank god my son was asleep.

When Ekko says: I promise I’ll never forget this and Powder replies: you better not she knows that Ekko is from another universe and is leaving soon, she realized when she see the drawing of the of the sphere and clones and imedially start to see Ekko different and showing a bit of sadness. She wants him to remember their short time together. Her lines of leaving few things behind and her reaction to Ekko reaction when she try to kiss him make much more sense that way, she was already dating her Ekko.

I’m not surprised so many people consider Ep 7 the best of this season or even the best in Arcane overall. I mean, it might not be my number one, but I still see it as an exceptional episode that encapsulates what makes Arcane great.
it really highlights how much sacrifice Ekko is willing to make. He gives up a dreamlike world where he could have been happy with someone he loves, choosing instead to return to his harsh reality to try to save everyone else. And he does this knowing that, even if he succeeds, he’ll be stuck in a world where most of the people he loved are gone. That’s next-level sacrifice.

Genuinely the best episode in the entire series. Ekko and powder deserved it all.
