I recently started dealing with this 2years ago at 25. I always had bouts of depression and anxiety but I was full of life still. I was always in the gym, had a great social life, had high hopes for the future, this condition has nearly destroyed that hope. Im a shell if the person that I used to be, I never leave the house, struggle to hold jobs, and I havent seen friends or anyone in ages. Its destroying me and I wouldnt wish this on anyone.

I have had this problem since I started puberty. I’ve watched several videos on this topic over the years, but this video shows you’re a professional & care to educate your client on the fullest extent. I have an appointment with my physician to inquire about the oral medications u brought up, the wipes & Botox. Tyvm, God bless u & God bless anyone who also knows what a life of this sorrow is. I have had terrible depression & anxiety my whole life bec of this & other things (ofc) but hyperhydrosis is not spoken about enough & people with it are misunderstood. Ty truly for all your help. Good look to everyone on your journey!!!

Try zero sweat!!!!

Hyperhidrosis affected my confidence for many years, my last attempt was zero sweat and I had no hopes but it changed my life, honestly can’t thank my cousin enough for suggesting it.

Thank you for this info!! I am always dripping in sweat on my face. I don’t really sweat much anywhere else. It’s so frustrating to have my makeup literally run down my face even while I’m putting it on so I gave up wearing foundation years ago. Just a few weeks ago, I was at the derm getting laser treatment and the md had to stop to pat my sweat mustache before they could continue. So embarrassing!

I love the Vanicream Anti-Perspirant and I don't even have hyperhidrosis. I've never had a reaction to it and find it works well. I like using it at night, however I do use just a little of a scented deodarant in the mornings because I like having a bit of a fresh scent. What is your lip color? Looks great on you!

I use the antiperspirant "Perspirex", the classic version, and it has made a big difference in my hyperhidrosis. I don't use it every night because it stings a bit. The area must be dry and without irritation or cuts because in this case it enters the wounds and can burn like fire. But now I worry about washing my armpit well, then wait 10 to 20 minutes for it to dry and then apply Perspirex maximum two passes in the armpits. It has been made to make me feel much more confident in wearing shirts without sweating them out. Thank you Dr. For his recommendations 🥰

I was using PanOxyl body wash for my arm pits but I felt it wasn’t working well to control odor so my dermatologist prescribed Clindamycin wipes and they are making a difference.

Aluminum Chloride 20% has saved my life. I had super sweaty armpits, even in cold days, that I couldn't even wear anything bright color because the huge patches of sweat marks were so embarrassing. I still can't believe that I now can wear any shirts with any color. Life changing, truly!

The tip of my nose sweats which is embarrassing if someone is close enough to notice…which they have and commented on. It makes wearing makeup annoying because it cakes then sweats off. Last complaint with nose sweat is when it makes my glasses slide down. 🤓

My scalp is the first thing that sweats when i'm out in the heat. In 5 minutes my hair will he soaked and dripping onto my face, my neck, and onto my shoulders. I have never found anything to help with this and at this point I am 65 years old. This has been going on since Puberty.

You are very talented and effective at the videos you produce. I have a suggestion for you. Produce an additional weekly video of about 2 to 3 minutes length of your most interesting case of the week. Highlight the issue with a few illustrations and describe why it is interesting to you. If you have a longer video that deals with the issue in more detail you can link to that.

Loving all your tips, suggestions, and information! I've suffered..yes, suffered, lol, with hyperhidrosis my whole life. Since I can remember, which is about 5 or 6 yrs old and I'm 27 now. And it hasn't gotten any better. I'd consider it primary, hands, feet, and armpits.. mostly..I can't where any shirts but black and even then it's so bad you can see sweat through that halfway down/around my shirt..😪 antiperspirants don't work, for sweat or odor.. I sweat it out then odor comes anyway. Hands always get papers wet, ..and don't let me walk on the floor with no shoes on, ..immediate foot prints.. I'm looking forward to trying some of these! This has been soo helpful! Thank you so much 🙏

Glycopyrrolate helps me, though it seems over time I need to increase the dosage. I'm currently out of it - I lost my job last year and started a new job in November, so I'm just getting back to my health needs. I can't wait for my appointment at the end of the month. Sweating all the time is horrible, especially in a meeting or some other public place.

I hope all of us can find some relief from this....thing we have to deal with.

I fixed this issue last year I was in Cancun, went to a clinic called CELAM. They use something called Miradry. One session and my arm pits sweating problems were gone! Very recommended guys! No pain and permanent

I’m female, in my 70’s and had hyperhidrosis in my armpits from puberty through menopause. There was no awareness of the condition then, let alone any treatment. Mine was genetic, from my father. I will tell you truly that I didn’t have a single time where I got dressed during that whole time that I didn’t agonize over what to wear to hide it. Nevertheless, I was teased unmercifully about it and it was horrendous. I just read today that Allure Magazine has listed Brella sweat-patches as one of their beauty breakthroughs for 2023. Since it is an in- office procedure my guess is that you’ll be getting questions about it on social media, so perhaps a short would be a good topic. Cheers! 💋

Dr. Sam, this isn't related to excessive sweating, but what can you say about the hack going around about using The Ordinary's 12% Glycolic Acid under your arms? I have it so I tried it and to my astonishment, it works. But I have no idea if it's safe for regular or long-term use. Thanks!
