After Mio's mother dies, her father immediately marries another woman with whom he has a girl that possess supernatural abilities. After this, Mio became a slave in her own house.

Me and my GF watched this and she cried so much during this. She had a very similar childhood and it wasnt until we met and she went to therapy, she broke the cycle of abuse from her mother and step father.
This was a fantastic show.

When they had Mio tied up I was so worried they'd take a page from East Asian history and pour boiling water/oil on her to make her disfigured (so Kiyoka wouldn't want to marry her anymore). So glad that wasn't the case!!

Now THIS is the kind of anime I’ve been looking for. One where the people in a relationship are healthy towards each other and communicate without fighting or even arguing. They disagree sure, but they get to the root of the issue together. Truly the kind of relationship one should look for. This was such an amazing thing to watch, thank you!

The first guy she was hoping for is nice but too weak in my opinion. The guy she actually got engaged to knows how to refuse when he needs to and stand up for her like she deserves.

It also lets the user see the past, present, and future events, as they happened, and they can even alter the past. Had she been revealed as a Dream Seer at a young age, her life would have been in constant danger. Her mother did not want this life for her daughter.
