I surprised, how deep the lyrics are in this music. It's actually telling a story of woman who is never appreciated by her husband or her boss at work even after working so hard. As she becames a slave to the rythm (love), she thinks it as her duty to look after the family. Once she got fed up of all of this, she ran away from home "She danced to the beat of her own" means that she wanted to live by herself with her own decisions. But she soon realizes what she has done and thinks about the family and cries "She swallowed her pride. She knew she was needed back home" and she continues her slavery life again...
