Hello Everyone,

First we want to thank everyone for your support and for the great feedback. It seems for the most part everyone is enjoying their controllers!

We did want to address some of the comments for those that mentioned the issue of the "L" shoulder button & analog stick bumping each other when you push the stick into the upper left position while holding down the "L" button. Unfortunately, we did not catch this before production and this may be noticeable in some games where you are holding down the "L" shoulder button and pushing the upper left position on the analog stick.

Again this is our fault for not catching this and we have nobody to blame but ourselves for missing this, however we do want to let you know that we are working on fixing it and making it right for those that wish to have it fixed. We are seeing if it is a replacement piece we can send to those for a quick fix or any other modifications need to be done. Please be assured we are here for you guys and just want everyone 100% satisfied and happy!

Future iterations (Colors) will NOT have this issue, but we still wanted to take care of those with the initial gray versions. Once we get a confirmed fix solution we will let everyone know.

Now that's a REAL review of this controller! He does a great job of reviewing products, almost as good as John Riggs. When you want the facts, MetalJesusRocks leaves no stone upturned! Now you need to let Kinsey run by and see if it damages anything.

Personally, I love that there's more really good third-party N64 controllers out there that don't cost the world like the mini Hori pad. Will probably pre-order one next paycheck!

I just wanted to say, about FPS games on the N64: LYFE HACK!! Use the left and middle handles on the original controller. You can move with the d-pad and aim with the analog, shoot with the trigger, your thumb can reach over to A and B to change weapon. It feels just like a modern FPS (though the d-pad is digital, that's no different from WSAD on a PC) and pretty much all FPS games on the system have that control option (even DOOM 64!). It makes them all way more playable today.

They just sent an email to the Kickstarter backers saying they are working on a fix for the L button issue and will figure out how to fix Kickstarter orders. Also said the future editions won’t have the issue.

I'm getting 4 of these. These look fantastic, and you're absolutely right, it is difficult to go back and use a N64 controller.

Thanks for the video! I guess I'm the odd one that actually loved the N64 controller; it felt great to hold and it just made sense for games like Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, Wave Race 64, WCW, etc.

Solid and in-depth review of this, really wasn't expecting the extensive controller tests on here! I'll probably pick one up at that price point, I was expecting this to be at least $50 but at $30 that's pretty reasonable for a brand new and solid N64 controller revision. I'm seeing right now that it's available for pre-order, still definitely interested but I'm going to wait a few months to see if any potential launch issues get ironed out.

Thanks for the introduction to this. You're not the only one when you say you're not the biggest fan of the original controller (before I get any hate, the N64 is my favorite childhood console). I'm just hoping we get an N64 Mini/Classic so I can try this one out on-the-go! Think we'll get one? :)

Moo Moo Farm is one of my all-time favorite MK tracks. In fact, MK64 has a lot of my all-time favorite tracks. Such a great game and a true hidden gem.
