WHY do I need to do this? I see articles on HOW to do this, but nothing mentions WHY it is necessary, nor what will happen if I don't do it. I also did not receive any emails alerting me that this was coming or that it would be necessary.

The Knowledge Base article list out Pre-requisites and then states that "Please do not process the migration on the devices mentioned is just confusing.

not great this new update, the interface hides features I use every day, like being able to rename computers in the app or to move computers to other folders, the simple things that took 2 clicks are now very difficult to figure out and is a disaster

The migration is a nightmare and some devices such as Synology NAS don't migrate, showing "outdated software" with no means to upgrade the software! Our devices are now split into migrated and not migrated, making any search or support a painful process (to be polite). Shame on the idiot Teamviewer developers who created havoc in a product that was excellent before their stupid changes!

That freaking "Migrate devices" button was so hard to locate. Because once you click a device, a side panel would show up and perfectly hide that button. What a genius design! Consider give whoever came up with this a pay raise!
I had to read though useless online docs and then this video to finally find the button and completed the migration. After that, I was asked about my experience. I wrote my complains and clicked "sent". Of course, a error dialog pops up. I think this company is probably in trouble.

TeamViewer porque no puedo migrar un equipp no me deja haverlo ya le busque mucho y es prácticamente imposible, existen las instrucciones para hacerlo perp no existen las soluciones a los problemas que se pueden dar y como solucionarlos, me puedes ayudar ???

Non funziona più nulla i dispositivi rimangono neri e quindi non raggiungibili.
