Why do shampoos get such a bad rap? They are the most important for keeping our scalp healthy. No, shampoos are not toxic, and yes Apple cider vinegar contains “chemicals”

Of course, there are individuals who don’t need to wash as often as others, but using a non-shampoo or DIY isn’t healthier for scalp.

The Key is to find the right shampoo formulation and frequency for you.

No poo for 10+ years and have the healthiest scalp and hair I've ever had.

That's interesting, since my doctor recommended I stop over stripping my skin and scalp, and after I did my skin has been less dry in general.
Maybe they teach things differently in other countries. I know I'd be sceptical of advice from professionals in countries where the corporate corruption is so rampant it seeps into education and practice.

No poo does not mean you don’t cleanse your scalp and hair. I completely switched over to Rhassoul clay washes and my hair is literally thicker and does not break anymore. Check out Katherine Sewing’s channel!

I have no shampoo for 6+ month and my hair looks better. Yes my hair have scalp and sometimes i feel itchy but i can tolerate it, cause when i use shampoo sometimes i feel itchy and have scalp too and that's normal things on your hair.

My hair I think is naturally wavy but I’ve been using like 2 pumps of shampoo everyday… making it straight asf, but I just recently discovered it was wavy and without shampoo, 2 day in so far, my hair is starting to get its wave pattern back and less dandruff somehow

You are so right about this!! One of the worst things I did in the care of my curly hair was to follow the curly girl method word for word and then I used to wonder why my scalp would itch so badly. Added to that, I have had seborrheic dermatitis for a long time now. So bring on the harsher antifungal shampoos now. Scalp care >>>> hair strand needs.

I don’t understand why it has to be one or the other. I use no poo most days until I feel my hair needs a shampoo wash. I probably shampoo about once a week, then use a no poo cleanser in between to hold it over.
