Battlefield Earth, based on L. Ron Hubbard's novel, is widely regarded as one of the worst science fiction movies of all time. The film suffers from a convoluted plot, poor acting, and subpar special effects. John Travolta's over-the-top performance as the villain, combined with awkward dialogue and illogical story elements, detracts from any potential enjoyment. Critics and audiences alike have panned its excessive use of tilted camera angles and a muddled narrative, making "Battlefield Earth" a notorious example of how not to adapt a science fiction novel to the big screen.

I heard Hubbard and immediately went "oh Him" because everything I hear about Hubbard makes me think he was literally just insane, and it makes sense because nobody sane nor sober could come up with scientology, and I remember hearing that Hubbard liked alcohol (I don't know for sure so fact check everything I say before believing me). So yeah I doubt he was sober or sane

I don’t understand how this movie is considered a flop’ I think it’s a magnificent movie.

Hubbards dekalogy, Mission Earth, is the finest read!
