From what I know about the hair from the vlogs, the original Broadway cast, Anne Boleyn did have hairpieces for pigtails, Anna of Cleves made her own hair and put on a bit more of the red streaks, K Howard had the coloured hair for real she just put extensions to make it longer, Jane Seymour had her own hair and the rest I don't know but I assume Catherine had a wig cuz the actress had short and different coloured hair and Parr had her own hair styled.
