I’ll have to share this vid with my two employees. Both have 6.0 power strokes and both laid down big money to “bullet proof the motor” or preemptively fix the common problems. I don’t know much on dizels, but the 12valve Cummins is the goat. Doesn’t need an ecu to run, and you can pretty much put anything in the gas tank and it will run. Just a low tech mechanical motor.

Like you I just picked up a 2002 Ram 3500 with the 24 valve Cummins and 92, 000 original miles. Every car guy also needs a truck😅

I had a 86.5 mk3 back in the day. Blk also. Dead sexy car. Stock seats were super comfortable and held you in place. Always think about buying one again…but nostalgia may be better and less expensive ;)

Hello Billy.. what Id like to see or rather hear about on such channels is the legal stuff you have to go through to keep cars on the road. Folk in the US talk about titles and what not. Here in NZ our vehicles need to go through an annual fitness check or if its - pre what ever year its every 6 months. My zed is a 6 monthly category.. things like this Id like to hear about in your part of the world. Thank you.

I think for the z wiseco pistons are fine with wrist pins upgrade.. do you plan use stock vg30dett crank?

Do I need to source a motor or can I use my na motor? Want to covert the car to tt. I've had it for over 10 years. Been a great car. 90'300zx yes it still runs good 185, 000miles.

Stick with an old, reliable truck. New trucks will saddle you with unnecessary debt you can use for projects!
