One huge factor being forgotten in all of this is that the episode where Carrie sees big again for the first time after him leaving for Paris and the first time she ever laid eyes on Natasha.. Is the argument that “20 something” women were a threat to “30 something” women.

And Carries longing to be essentially back in her 20s. Or her “Prime”… the second Episode of the show Carrie even said “when I turned 30 I came to terms with my looks”

Overall Sex and the City was a very complex show. In the light of day.. age wise Big should have been with someone like Samantha who he turned down… or the aesthetic of Natasha or even Charlotte.

It’s kind of like… what’s the REAL likelihood that someone like BIG would run in the same circles as

This is truly one of my all time favorite shows (if you can’t tell) and the part about the Mirror image of your friends is so real no matter what age you are. Carrie at any point in the show when she can’t meet the same standards she sets for her friends she turns into a victim.

This entire show is Carrie with great experimental fashion looking for love.. and when she doesn’t find that love in all of these men.. especially when it came to Aiden she turned herself into a “trapped” victim.

Also I loved to comparison to Natasha and Aiden were the true Victims of the show!
