To everyone confused about what this is: Lens distortion. Basically most phone cameras distort your face due to their lens size usually being lower than around 40mm (in some cases, the front camera can be as low as 10mm). In the second part of the video jayus uses a camera with bigger lens to film herself (bigger than >50mm), which is more accurate to what the human eye sees in real life.

How to do this trend:
in the first part of the video put the camera close to your face then pause the clip/recording and then in the second part do the face zoom filter and pull the camera farther away from your face and you look better because, well look at the top comment that explains it.
Also use this sound and when the beat drops is when you stop recording to set up the second part

This is so true! I would look at myself in my phone camera and my nose looks like a hot air ballon then I get a bit insecure… I check the mirror and it is regular and looks fine and I am standing looking at myself like “ahhh this is right 😅” then I aint insecure anymore 😂

I struggle with my self esteem a lot but I do feel a lot more confident in the mirror, especially after learning what you see in the mirror is the closest to what others see you as. I look awful in photos and am extremely camera shy due to it despite wanting to take photos and such
