At one point in my childhood my dad was so strictly religious. No kissing in TV shows, no rap music (later found out he's also racist) and all that did was made me seek it out more. My stepmother came into the picture and told my dad that he shouldn't do that and should let's us explore our own interests, and it went HARDCORE the other way. I'm talking drugs, rap music about vile stuff from yt racists. I was 8 when I had my cough medicine addiction. All of it ruined me in different ways. People like this always have skeletons and something to hide and I will never think differently on that.
