seems to me if the column/sonotube is connected to the wall, and it moves, the tube top moves and the base doesn't so it has to be replumbed. It doesn't stay plumb. assuming plumb is important.

It's easier, faster, cheaper, less cluttered, and more reliable to set each tube independently with two braces staked into the ground.

what a mess ! me and about 4 guys would set 50, 9 footers and pour them the same day, u use 2, 2×4s collar the top drive some stakes in the ground plumb them up and nail it....
