I was driving at 70mph the other day with a severe side wind, keeping the car in the lane was a chore, I hit FSD and let Tesla take over and what a difference. It kept it centered in the lane better then me and there was zero jerkiness like when I was doing it. What a relaxing drive it became.

The scary part that is not covered here is that America has no pedestrian impact regulations (unsurprising) which is why it cannot be sold in Europe and many other countries around the world. All safety regulations in the US only focus on the people inside the vehicle!

Some drunk party goer trying to impress his passengers with the cybertruck's speed and acceleration. Didn't have self driving on of course because the Tesla won't drive sufficiently recklessly as to impress drunk party goers. You have to do that manually.

I’m from Mexico and local news reported that the woman in critical condition was expelled out of the vehicle during the crash, for me it is obvious that she wasn’t wearing the seat belt, and that is no fault of the vehicle’s safety. I also think that people is bragging their new Cybertruks showing off their speed and launch thing, plus maybe alcohol involved, well not a good combination.

I own a Tesla and have been “trialing” FSD for a couple of weeks in a metropolitan location. I really like it and, at this stage, I’m going to keep it. I will say a better term for this is interactive self driving. Some real time driver input is desirable.

18 year old female ejected from the vehicle. She is lucky to be alive and may still succumb to her injuries. When occupants are ejected, it is usually an indication they were not wearing a seat belt. Sam, to say that all is well for the passengers is wrong. Clearly this was caused by the driver and his choices, not the vehicle or any deficiency. But let’s not diminish the seriousness of this accident or the harm to the occupants.
