TESLA CYBERTRUCK VS MODEL Y CRASH TEST

Tesla Cybertruck front crash test, side crash test and roll-over crash test.

Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners' real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiasts. I contact each person who sends me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up on what happened after what we see on their video. Voice-over and captions are added to describe what happened, and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.

From the footage and additional information, a viewer can learn the consequences of bad driving and can educate his/her self with better driving safety. This process also gives the videos a great educational value. It is my desire to add my own unique and creative value in a transformative way to ensure you enjoy and learn from the videos being presented.

**All videos are submitted to or for Wham Baam channels and used with original copyright permission.**

Model Y: Sacrifices itself to save you.

Cybertruck: Saves its self to then sacrifice you.

Remember. Its not the crash that kills you, its the sudden stop that does. Most cars have crumple zones that absorb to energy and slow the deceleration down to a survivable stopping speed of the human. If the vehicle doesn’t crumple. All the slow down speed is transferred to the human.

The Cybertruck only role like 30°-39° of inclination!

Well Tesla model Y is the safe vehicle ever tested in mass production. 🤷‍♂️ Like to see the status from the test dummy on the CT...🤔 Side T bone looks great and the rollover test. But I want to know the results from that head on, less crunch visually then the Y.

Whiplash is going to be brutal in the Cybertruck.

Grandfather: They don’t build them the same.
Me: Look at this. What about they don’t build them the same?

The truck is much safer than all US trucks. But not for the people that get hit by it.

The Cybertruck would hurt more in a front end collision since it doesn’t have a large crumple zone compared to normal cars

Bro the cyber truck 🛻 breaking into a million pieces like a lego set😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Wow... that is a lot of movement inside the cabin space for those people on the front collision... the fact there is no major crumple zone means those people are feeling that a lot more. Nice side impact though.

I can't wait to see how these crash in the real world and how on earth they are supposed to be repaired.

Beautiful car but will probably be one of the most dangerous cars on the roads for both the passengers and other drivers. Its the same reason we don't have steel helmets. Your brain would be in shambles after a bad hit. You need material that can absorb and dissipate
kinetic energy from accidents.

As someone whose mum recently had big leg and ribcage injuries from the pedals and steering wheel, I can tell you that in addition to crumble zones, you also don't want too much intrusion.

As if that needed explaining.

At what speed are they testing? Normally it’s 30mph.

Huh, here it is again. I honestly wondered about how the Cybertruck's front end crumple zones compared to other cars, but the travel distance here appears surprisingly close.

Crashing into a perfectly flat and even barrier is not impressive... Cars in the real world do not hit perfectly flat barriers that evenly distribute the force.
