My favorite quantum Futurama joke is the horse race.
_Horses cross the time at the same time_
Announcer: "And it's a dead heat, their checking the electron microscope, and the winner is number 3 in a *quantum* finish!"
Professor: _Rips up ticket and angrily shouts_ "No fair, you changed the outcome by measuring it!"

Being alive and dead also explains how Schrodinger is still around in the 31st century despite dying in the 20th

What Schroedinger fails to note in his studies is that a cat in a small box actually has _three_ states: two in a quantum superposition and one that is as certain as the effects of gravitation.

These states are alive, dead, and _absolutely f**king murderously furious._

A cat in a small box is absolutely going to go off like a claymore mine on the opener once the box is opened. provided the waveform collapses to 'alive.'

Scroedinger needed a lot of bandages in his lifetime.

That's ridiculous, none of the stuff in that box could stop an alive cat from starving or a dead cat from rotting.

I liked how that scenario was actually bull$h¡t concocted by Shrodinger to illustrate how ridiculous the concept was, but with the advent of multiversal theory it’s actually a lot more plausible. Although I think I’m remembering that multiversal theory came about based on considering that very thought experiment. 🤷‍♂️ Meh, chicken/egg, potaytoe/potahtoe, wibbly-wobbly/timely-wimey, who knows where these things come from.
