I just got my new I-phone-7plus today & immediately fell in love with the home button.. Not sure why I like it so much but it just feels right. I don't miss the old button click one bit.

Before getting the iPhone 7, I was actually excited about this piece of new technology, but having used it for awhile, I do miss the old clicky home button and I never had issues with my previous iPhone home buttons failing on it. The new button while using the same haptic technology as the new macbooks, isn't able to trick my mind to think that I'm clicking down on something. on the other hand, the macbook trackpads really do give a convincing click sensation.

The new Home button is actually one of my favorite things about the iPhone 7. I absolutely love pressing it.

I like that you can double click the new home button faster than before, hence you can enter multitasking mode and switch between apps faster. This has a huge impact on how I use my phone.

I love it. After the home button on my 4 died, I only used Assistive Touch on my 6s. The mechanical button was so unreliable. In fact, ever since the 6s, I have relied solely on deep pressing the left edge of the screen to mimic the function of the home button (multitasking and returning to home).

The new home button is a win for me. Now my double or triple click is 100% reliable.

while the home button doesn't move, the taptic engine does, which is basically moving the point of failure. Or at least making it more likely to fail since it vibrates even more.

Thanks to the haptic feedback, if I dont't tell people not used to iPhones they wouldn't notice it is not a moving button. The Taptic engine is simply incredible.

Never used iphones before but just bought a 7 plus so i do love the new home button a lot. Also the phone is very responsive

Yes it felt a bit weird at first.. but must say it's really quick become a way more natural and better feeling compared to my iPhone 6S.

I was about to sell the 6S the other day so powered it up and obviously pressed the button a couple of times a damn it feels weird now!

when i first try the new home botton it is feel amazing.After 1 week i can say it is the best home botton.For me it is feel awesome
