Need for Speed is a series of car racing video games published by Electronic Arts (EA) and produced by various studios including Canadian EA Black Box, British Criterion Games and Swedish Ghost Games. The first title, The Need For Speed was released in 1994. All games in the series consist of racing cars on various closed circuits or not. Some titles even include police chases in the races. The latest title in the series, Need For Speed Heat, was released in November 2019. In November 2020, a remastered version of the game Need For speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) was released.
