I live in the Caribbean and its just so dang hard to look polished and expensive when you are sweating through every pore in your body and have frizzy hair because of the humidity and its just so hot the last thing you want is to have is clothes on. I feel like its a lot easier to look polished, expensive and chic when dressing for more cold weather. But maybe that’s just me.

You have some simple, basic, classy suggestions. I also love the nude shoe. They have their place. But I also have some different colored low heel strappy sandals for summer. They’re pretty with white jeans especially or a pretty midi skirt. You’re fun to watch!

Great tips Anna, thanks. A lot of us Europeans are turned off by the term "expensive" because we interpret it literally, e.g. "rich/wanting to show you have money", which is an ugly quality to lots of us. I used not to click on videos that used that term in protest 😆, but I now accept that it mostly means "polished". And that Americans just tend to have a closer association between wealth and worth, which is how the expression perhaps developed. Musings over, sorry!

The problem with Nordgreen watches is that they are so big and masculine, they look silly on my tiny wrists and hands. I wish they would make daintier styles.

Diamonds shouldn’t be worn until sundown, one of the few old-fashioned rules I follow (with my fakes). Small diamond studs might be an exception, but most fakes are too big and flashy for daytime.
