How did Groot Meet Rocket Raccoon?

Yeah, Groots aka Floral Collosi are low level telepathic/empathic and while Groot isn’t exactly a language, you can learn what he means by opening yourself up to him, and spending time with him and allowing him to sort of work his way into your mind. Let his mind roots grow through your brick wall and you’ll basically understand him as if he was speaking your language just fine.

It’s sad because Groot is so kind and empathetic and he wants so badly to be heard and understood and felt, and almost no one gives him the chance because they are either scared of him, or see him as some dumb tree.

This is why I love the end of GOTG 3 when we finally hear him say “I love you guys…” because that’s what the guardians always hear… they just hear Groot sharing his thoughts normally.

Also, fun fact… Baby Groot is literally made of the breath of the Guardians. Plant mass comes from carbon dioxide, think about it… a plant growing in soil doesn’t need more soil added… where does the mass come from? The air! Carbon in the air.
So when baby Groot was growing up on the ship, he was using the carbon dioxide and moisture that the guardians breathed out to grow and form his body.
His body is made up of the life breath of his closest friends and family! That’s so fucking cool!

Forgot to add, at the end a large group of guards show up to attack them, that's that's they team up to fight them, and after that Rocket finally is able to understand Groot

When Rocket saw groot getting abused and tortured it reminded him of his old friends so he stepped in to save groot. He's not loosing anyone else.

I remember this comic! It's one of the few I own. They do one bit with Groot where his speech bubble is block letters of "I AM GROOT, " but it has the images of what he's trying to say inside the letters. Such an awesome one

A conversation between Groot, Chewbacca and Timmy from South Park would be extremely wholesome.

Since Timmy did have telepathy, and since he is able to understand tbe other kids, I'd say that they actually would find a way to have a long conversation about their struggles about being misunderstood.

I like how the whole time this is just a grandpa disciplining his children. For them it’s heroic and a battle of courage to stop him, but to him he’s just like “Shhhh you’ll understand when you’re older my children. ☺️”
