40 years ago, my secondary school building in nearby East Ham was shut down to remove asbestos. Our year group (2nd years) were moved into the old Three Mills School for a few weeks whilst it was sorted out. Three Mills later became the site of the original Big Brother house when it started on channel 4. Great memories. Thank u

Another very interesting walk. What a surprising absence of humans in most of it, until we saw a few at the end! Your videos are so cheering on rainy, lonely days. Thanks!

So nice to see a mixture of new and old buildings together as long as the old ones get used and not just left.

Well done Lorna. I woke up from a snooze in my armchair (laptop still on my knee) and there you were. Your video was just what I needed on a wet Sunday afternoon.

I find that the history of an area is always more interesring to hear about from someone who lives there. My great uncle worked in a gas works like the one you showed us. He went there on leaving school and stayed until he was 65. The very next day he dropped down dead.

Splendid vlog. We live in a small town with a great, rich history, including being a port for Blackbeard the pirate.
I love your videos. Keep up the good work.

Love seeing history in other places . I grew up close to the western end of the C and O canal ( Chesapeake and Ohio) the canal ran from Washington DC to Cumberland MD . As a boy I hiked and biked the length of the C and O canal. Lots of history . Also passed Ft McHenry you talked about many times driving in Baltimore MD. Thank you for the vids. I very much enjoy them.
