Iowa Violent EF4 Tornado • 03/31/2023

The Ottumwa-Keota Iowa Tornado as it happened during the historical 31-March-2023 high-risk day. I intercepted this storm in Ottumwa and stayed with it until Keota as it reached EF4 status. While maintaining contact with this EF4, I encountered many destroyed structures and what appeared to be a rolled pickup truck. Viewers did indicate the driver was found and brought to a relatives house and is accounted for.

Local of the area: Power to the majority of the Keokuk County area has been restored as of this comment and should be back to near 100% Monday afternoon. As far as I know no fatalities in the county but at least 5 farms and houses in the Keota/Harper area are destroyed. Thank you for dropping me your channel name and shoutout to the REC guys for busting their butts for 15hrs/day to restore power. Hopefully Tuesday doesn't bring a one-two punch to everyone still recovering.

Tanner Charles has footage of the same tornado on his Youtube channel and he is the one who stopped and picked up the people from the truck. He took them to their grandparents house to check on them and their house was destroyed but everyone survived. Great footage but this is just the beginning for this year.
