The chip ban was started by US, Japan and Holland. The ban is against free trade and is exactly what G7 proclaims to fight: economic coercion.

China will have fully domestic supply chain for advice chip process within 5 years. It will decrease the cost of chip manufacturing.

One should always rely on someone with that hairdo. I have been listening to "experts" that have been predicting China's collapse with things like: if China is banned from the International Station programme, it can never achieve the same level of technology, blah, blah, blah...
