Calculating file sizes

A short tutorial on how you can calculate the file sizes of image and audio files.

I have my yearly exam for Multimedia tomorrow, and I didn't have a clear idea on how to do this. Thank you for your video.

You mean the image size? You can look at the properties of the picture. Just on your computer itself, navigate to the image file.
If you are using windows right-click on the image and select 'properties'. If you are using mac right-click and select 'get info'.
This should give you the image dimensions, it will presented as something like 720x960

Do you know how to calculate the pixels of the sides?

Thank you.. still helpful 5 years later xD Although i had to change the maths to divide by 1, 000. 1024 is a kibibyte, not a kilobyte
