I was literally fed up working out a problem from Googles' course for IT Tech on Coursera. They wanted me to figure out how many seconds it took to get 1 GB transfer with a 2.0 USB port of 480 Mb/s. I've worked on it for weeks, as they only told me 8bits are in a byte but nothing else. I finally know now, that you have to transfer from big to little or little to big. By either 1, 000 or 1, 024, times it by 8 and then divide it by the processing time. So to go from GB to Mb/s you need to multiply 1, 024 by 8 which is 8, 192 and divide by 480 Mb/s which is 17.06, which is really 17 seconds. Thank you for all your

This answer is not correct... U are supposed to used 1024 as the conversation rate
