Served 4 years active and six years reserves Marine Corps. Desert Storm veteran. I didn't recognize this Marine Corps portrayed in this film. But hey, I went to Boot Camp in 1978. The Marine this film is about was born a year later! Watched it once. I'm not interested in watching again. I still gave it a thumbs up on Netflix because it held my attention. I did feel sorry for him regarding his family situation. Good seeing he served with honor and discharge.

This role should have been given to anyone but Gabrielle break-Union who is so one dimensional and has no range as an actress. This movie subject matter is too powerful for her subpar acting skills

A gay man goes into the military and the entire movie is about him being gay, truly an important film wow this is uplifting. Hopefully there’s more onscreen gay sex than there was in moonlight.
