In this video i am going to explain how to genrate all possible combination with a very easy formula using Excel 365 for single column.
Unlike Create all possible combinations of two lists of values in Excel, this video is focusing on single column.
Many expert using Power query to genrate combinations like "Get all possible combinations from multiple lists in Excel using Power Query | Excel Off The Grid but that is not quickly refresh and requried a bit more steps.
After learning this simple Excel formula you don't need a template to make all possible combination like " Combinations Generator - Free Excel Template"

I hope you like this video. Please subscribe the channel for support :) Thank you so much.

This is great. But what if I didn't want the Argentina | Australia and then the Australia | Argentina combination? Meaning, the combination should show up only one regardless of which columns the values are set in

Wow that's great, but I wish you would include the formula in the description :)

Very nice! Only works with Office 365 and not earlier versions. Making it into a Table will make it dynamic and auto-update without have to modify the LET function.

How would you do a formula if you wanted combinations to include more than 2 of the countries at a time? E.g., Argentina Australia Canada, Australia Belgium Canada etc

Hey Thank you so much for this video...

I want to do the same thing. But i have an additional condition here.

I want to find the possible pairs from the single coloumn which belong to the same group.
Lets say in the same excel you havs another coloumn called group.

And lets say you have 10 countries.

First 3 countries belong to group 1
And next 3 belong to group 2
Remaining 4 belong to group 3.

I just want to find possible pairs for each group.

I really need it urgent. It will be very helpful for me..

Thanks in advance brother

You say ALL combinations. But in your result the combinations only have two elements in each combination. Why are you ignoring combinations of 3 elements, combinations of 4 elements and finally a combination with all items?

I am trying to solve this in excel and so far I haven't figured it :)

Thanks
