Smaller, local shows are a good way to start. I do two high school shows that cost $70. each to enter and I do very well there.

Thank you for being so transparent. I really appreciate you posting this video. So sorry that you had to go through that. I thought those types of things only happened to me. I had been contemplating if I should do art shows. However, I will be sure to research the location to be sure if it’s a great fit for me before I do. Thanks again!!! 💕💕💕

$250!? You got taken for a ride! I do a free farmers market every week, I have a $15 small town community center coming up, and a $45 big event coming soon at an events center. Would never pay anything over $100!

250 that's a lot of money.
The only person making money guaranteed at a craft show is the organizer
I avoid craft shows, festival shows at all cost.
