Many reasons to soak not rinse meat. Rinsing meat is pointless I agree, but you need to soak your meat in vinegar and salt to draw the grime and bacteria from the meat. Most meat is processed and handled a lot. Plus this process draws out excess blood and excrements from it being dead flesh…that causes the meat to have a superior taste. Trust me please clean your meat…smh

Rinse ground beef in a fine strainer. Taking the blood out makes it extremely soft for cooking.

As a butcher-food scientist-cook washing ground beef will remove alot of the flavor, the individual cells have had a lot of pressure appikes to them when it was ground so the HEM- molecule responsible for the flavor of meat, it's leaking out and washing it is going to further remove it so you will end up with flavourless crumbles. It is a good idea to wash cuts of pork as a saw is used to cut these and they will have bone dust on them also cuts of beef that have the bone, but for beef I would blot it with a clean washcloth.

Mince meat how I deal with it put in a drainer lemon and salt pour boiling hot water over it 1 or twice then start to season and cook it removes that stence of mince meat and also bloody taste left when not doing it
