you get it wrong….she does it to get rid of the smell of blood and get clear broth..sometime people use vinegar….if meat is left in the fridge for few days you got to wash it out..

You're washing the meat because you don't know where your food came from...who handled it...and how. It's an EXTRA precautionary thing. It's embedded for some and not for others.

Nope. Gonna keep "washing" my meats. Plus vinegar, lemon, and lime kills bacteria too. Been eating "washed" meat for 32yrs and never had a issue

Washing is not to kill bacteria but to clean away the slime and possible debris. They do sometime drop the meat in factory facilities.

Washing meat helps the marinade and seasoning to better absorb. For non-western cooking methods it makes sense and is done for a good reason.
