I had never heard of her either until it was mentioned that one of the gymnasts dropped out of the gymnastics competition in the 2020 Olympics. I saw it on the news. I haven’t watched the Olympics in years.

I'm a huge fan of athletics and football, but didn't really care about other sports until some greats happened. Hamilton had me following F1, Kobe's death, yes...his death had me following the NBA because only such a great sport can host someone so loved. The love I saw people show after that accident, the tears.... I had to be a fan. Now I'm a huge fan of LeBron....strange for someone who loved the sport because of Kobe, right?
And then there's Biles in gymnastics. This G.O.A.T. Today I followed every minute of her all-around competition and eventual win live. That floor routine was crazy. After the third routine and Andrade's 14.+ on the floor I was like..."Simone just needs 13.8 on the floor and she can do at least a 14.5 so she should be safe". This girl pulled a 15. Crazy
