Now with the smart beta funds and ETFs availability, i have stopped investing in individual stocks. I have become completely an index invester through ETFs. And ofcourse i also have very less knowledge in stock picking. Thats one more reason why i am comfortable with ETFs.

A large number of midcap and small cap active funds in India have been able to beat their respectively benchmark indices. However as the indian stock market becomes more and more matured, large cap active funds are failing to beat their respectively benchmark indices.
